Unique patented system
The Solero Prostor is much more than just a parasol – it’s an easily retractable canopy with a lot of features. The setup consists of a central pole which can accommodate up to four parasols. Using our patented control system, including a gas spring, the parasols are easily collapsed. You can open or collapse every cloth individually. A great touch is to transform the base with mood lights. Make your choice between authentic, round parasols or trendy square cloths. The round parasols have a 350cm diameter, while the square cloths don’t shy away in their 250cm or 300cm sizes. Upon using the complete set of four cloths per parasol you’ll get yourself an astonishing 36 square meters of shading surface!

An even more luxurious solution is the electric version of the Prostor parasol, where opening and collapsing the parasol is simply a matter of using a remote control. The quality and durability of a parasol are largely determined by the quality of the cloth. The fade resistance of a cloth (by UV-radiation) depends on the way in which the yarn is dyed. In contrast to most polyester fabrics on the market, Solero cloths have been colored on a thread level before being woven. Think of the difference between a radish or carrot. Cut a carrot in half and you’ll see the same orange color all the way through. Our parasols are delivered with a label that guarantees a color guarantee for 4 years. The Prostor P6 fabrics can be delivered in a round size of 350 cm. and in two square versions of 250*250 cm. and 300*300 cm.

water column 300 mm

A water column indicates how much water pressure a parasol cloth can handle without leaking. A 300 mm water column indicates that a cloth will start letting water through, once a pressure of more than a 30 cm column of water is applied to it.

UPF 30+ and 50+

Solero parasol cloths form a great protection to harmful sun radiation. With the exception of the ‘natural’ color cloth, all our cloths filter the harmful UV-radiation entirely (100%), signified with a UPF 50+ factor. The Solero natural cloth has a UPF 30+ value.

modular system

The Solero Prostor consists of a central pole which can accommodate up to four parasols. A Duo model can be easily upgraded to a Trio or Quattro version by simply adding one or two canopies.

raingutters with zippers

A rain gutter is used to interconnect two parasols by zipping it to both ends. This ensures that the full surface area below the parasol remains dry as rain water flows away towards the parasol’s edges. Rain gutters can be placed between two or more square parasols and are thus able to connect an unlimited amount of parasols.

Solero Prostor comes with a unique and patented one-move control system, including a gas spring. In the video further on to this page you can see how easy it is to handle the parasol.

integrated gas spring

Solero Prostor parasols are equipped with an integrated gas spring for fingertip control.

closes over the table

The Solero Prostor P6 parasols close over the table. The parasols can be opened and closed without having to move the tables or chairs.

very compact when collapsed (check out our video)

The parasol moves sideward so that the closed parasol rests against the mast. As a result, it takes up very little space when closed. The XL version, a giant parasol of 615*615 cm. , has only a mast height of 270 cm.
