The Solero O’Bravia cloth collection is a new, exclusive, high-end and sustainable brand which has been developed for your outdoor life. The parasol cloth has been colored on a thread level before being woven, providing elegance, comfort, strength and sustainability, making for a complete match with your Solero parasol. It doesn’t matter which color you pick, you always get a shade of green with your garden or professional parasol – all our cloth is 100% recyclable.

Carefully woven
Sustainability and the environment are key words in the 21st century. The Solero cloths are woven with the upmost scrutiny. Being fully fade resistant is a major feature of our cloth. All Solero O’Bravia cloth will be delivered with a label that guarantees a color guarantee for four years. In our industry this is graded as a colorfastness grade of 7 out of 8. This means that the very first signs of color fading will not show before being out in the sun for 350 days. This term was measured in normal weather conditions and daily usage of a protective cover.

Maximum Protection
Solero parasol cloth is great protection from harmful sun radiation. As our ozone layer continues to deteriorate, the filtering of UV-radiation happens less and less. Therefore, having a quality cloth with optimal protection keeps getting more important. With the exception of the ‘natural’ colored cloth, all our cloths filter the harmful UV-radiation entirely (100%), signified with a UPF 50+ factor. The Solero natural cloth has a UPF 30+ value.

Rainy days
Although rainy days are usually less fun, you will still be able to enjoy yourself under your Solero parasol. All our cloth has received an extra special treatment with a water resistant coating. If it really pours down for a prolonged period or a sudden shower occurs, we advise you to close your parasol. Please make sure the cloth dries well before putting it in its protective cover.

Get your cloth printed
We can also print an inspiring text or logo on your cloth. This could be your own logo, or that of a sponsor. We often team up with breweries, coffee producers or soft drink manufacturers. Often the parasols of local football or tennis clubs are (partially) sponsored by local companies or newspapers. Need your printed cloth fast? fade-resistant

The quality and durability of a parasol are largely determined by the quality of the cloth. The fade resistance of a cloth (by UV-radiation) depends on the way in which the yarn is dyed. In contrast to most polyester fabrics on the market, Solero cloths have been colored on a thread level before being woven. Think of the difference between a radish or carrot. Cut a carrot in half and you’ll see the same orange color all the way through. Our parasols are delivered with a label that guarantees a color guarantee for 4 years.

water column 300mm

A water column indicates how much water pressure a parasol cloth can handle without leaking. A 300 mm water column indicates that a cloth will start letting water through, once a pressure of more than a 30 cm column of water is applied to it.

UV-protection

Solero parasol cloths form a great protection to harmful sun radiation. All our cloths filter the harmful UV-radiation entirely (100%), signified with a UPF 50+ factor.

with or without valance

The valance is the fabric strip at the bottom of the front of a sunscreen or parasol, often styled in the same pattern as the sunscreen. The word valance is historically associated with bed skirts, which could chill the undersides of beds. We supply parasols with or without valance. wind vented roof

The wind vented roof ensures that the wind, which would otherwise lift the parasol, flows away naturally. It therefore adds stability to the parasol.

spare fabrics

Store your parasol in a dry place during winter time, preferably in a standing position to prevent mice from nibbling on the canvas. Did something go wrong anyway or are you tired of the color?
